More than 30 locations across the UAE are hosting special events for workers during the 54th Eid Al Etihad holiday, under the theme 'Our Workers' Happiness in Our Union's Celebration'.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is leading the events alongside a wide range of government partners, including the Ministry of Interior, federal and local police forces, civil defence authorities, municipalities, private organisations and several charities.
Activities include sports, competitions, entertainment programmes and gift distributions at labour accommodations and public venues.
MoHRE officials say the celebrations aim to recognise workers’ contributions to the UAE’s development and to strengthen social inclusion by involving them in national occasions.
The Ministry is inviting companies and labour accommodations to register their workers for the events, online.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation is organising celebratory activities for workers across more than 30 locations nationwide, under the theme “Workers’ Happiness on Eid Al Etihad,” with strong participation from both government and private entities.
