The UAE has condemned the Houthi militia’s attack on an airport in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the latest incident is further evidence of the rebels’ efforts to undermine regional security.
The UAE has expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reiterated support for its measures to tackle extremism.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Gargash took to Twitter to highlight how the Houthis have undermined the UN's political work.
UAE strongly condemns Houthi attack on Abha Airport in Saudi Arabia. Blatant attack on civilians & one of many attacks in the 6 months since Stockholm. Houthi militias undermining the UNs political work & sending a message of continuing violence & hostility.
