The UAE and Egypt have conducted the 49th airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid into northern Gaza.
According to the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense, the operation included two C17 aircraft belonging to the United Arab Emirates Air Force, and two C295 aircraft belonging to Egypt.
The drops were carried out over isolated and inaccessible areas in the northern Gaza Strip via the four planes that carried 82 tons of food and relief aid.
It brings the total aid dropped since the launch of Operation “Birds of Goodness” to 3,344 tonnes.
The total amount of relief aid sent by the UAE to the northern Gaza Strip by land via the Kerem Abu Salem crossing and by air via Operation Birds of Khair exceeds approximately 3,714 tonnes.
Operation “Birds of Goodness” comes within the framework of Operation “The Gallant Knight 3” to support Palestinian people.
