The UAE has expressed its deepest condolences and solidarity with the Philippines after Typhoon Fung-wong left at least 18 people dead.
It left thousands displaced and caused severe damage to property and infrastructure.
Fung-wong is forecast to graze the far southern tip of Taiwan later on Wednesday before heading into the Pacific Ocean. It lost considerable strength after swirling through the Philippines.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims' families and the government.
