The UAE has expressed solidarity with Pakistan and Afghanistan after torrential rain triggered devastating floods and landslides in the region, killing and wounding a number of people.
In separate statements to both countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed that the UAE expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to the governments over the tragedy.
The ministry also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
