The UAE field hospital in Gaza has received a delegation from the World Health Organisation to review the medical services being provided to Palestinian patients.
The visit focused on the UAE’s continued support for Gaza’s health sector, as hospitals across the territory face severe shortages and mounting pressure amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
During the tour, officials at the field hospital handed over essential medicines and supplies to help strengthen the capacities of Palestinian hospitals and ensure they can continue delivering care across all governorates.
The assistance is part of the UAE’s broader efforts to support Gaza’s healthcare system and ease the strain on medical facilities working to provide urgent and life-saving treatment under extremely challenging conditions.
