The UAE's leaders have sent congratulatory messages to Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the occasion of his country's National Day.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said "the UAE and Qatar are linked by deep-rooted bonds of partnership and a shared vision for continued progress."
He wished the country and its people further prosperity, wellbeing and success.

Similar congratulatory messages were sent by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
