UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, have underscored the need to work towards an immediate halt to military actions during a phone call.
The leaders looked at prioritising dialogue and diplomatic solutions while preventing further tensions.
King Abdullah II also condemned the attack targeting the UAE Consulate-General in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, noting it constitutes as a serious violation of international laws that guarantee the full protection of diplomatic missions and their premises.
Sheikh Mohamed thanked King Abdullah II for his support and solidarity with the UAE.
