President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has welcomed world leaders to the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, reflecting the UAE's "longstanding efforts to build bridges of partnership between nations".
In a social media post, Sheikh Mohamed said "leaders and global experts" at the Summit will help "shape the future of sustainable development through collaboration and dialogue".
He added that "the UAE is committed to working with the international community in fostering lasting progress and achieving shared solutions for a better tomorrow".

The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit will run until January 15 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, under the theme “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go". It will focus on mobilising efforts across the energy, finance, technology and community sectors.
The two-day summit convenes world leaders, prime ministers and government officials, as well as business leaders, investors and innovators.
It will feature more than 100 speakers across over 30 sessions, focusing on unifying the efforts of government leaders, sectors, investors and innovators to strengthen joint action and accelerate sustainable progress.
Discussions will focus on global energy systems transformation; food, nature and water security; and the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies. Each day will also feature a special Leadership Segment, convening global leaders to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in sustainable development.
