The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key sectors to support shared development goals.
The phone call also focused on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with the two leaders stressing the need to maintain the ceasefire, ensure uninterrupted delivery of aid and ease civilian suffering.
They reaffirmed that a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution remains the only viable path to stability and security in the region.
Sheikh Mohamed and Erdoğan also exchanged views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
