UAE, UK review bilateral relations

The UAE and UK are looking to further strengthen ties in many key areas.

A prospective cementing of ties comes after Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, the Diplomatic Advisor to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met with the British Minister of State for South Asia and Commonwealth, Lord Tariq Mahmood Ahmad.

During the meeting, the minister also thanked the UAE for helping evacuate UK citizens from Afghanistan.

Finally, the duo also discussed regional and international issues of interest.
