UAE vaccine doses cross 16.8 million

More than 16.8 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the UAE so far.

Another 15,279 doses were given in the past 24 hours.

It takes the total to 16,810,996 with a distribution rate of 169.97 doses per 100 people.

Around 70.57 per cent of the UAE population is fully vaccinated, while 78.95 per cent has received the first dose.
