The UAE has expressed its support for the recent agreement between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to establish a new tri-national border connection point.
The three countries also signed the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship.
Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, said the UAE hopes this agreement will strengthen cooperation and development in Central Asia, promoting peace, prosperity and stability, both regionally and internationally.
Al Sayegh also highlighted the UAE's longstanding ties with these nations, and emphasised the importance of peaceful dialogue in resolving conflicts and disputes.
