Abu Dhabi Police have made one of the largest drug seizures in the UAE, by foiling an attempt to smuggle more than 420 kg of illegal substances.
The narcotic items were found hidden in vehicle spare parts.
Around half a million captagon tablets were also seized in the operation, which was implemented over several months.
Twelve people involved in the racket were arrested from different parts of the country.
