It helped attract 1.3 million domestic tourists, which is a 36 per cent increase over the previous year.
Meanwhile, revenues of hotel establishments jumped 50 per cent to reach AED 1.5 billion, and their occupancy rates hit 73 per cent compared to 66 per cent in 2021.
The campaign also gained traction on social media, achieving more than half a million interactions from around the world on different platforms, while the reach rate exceeded half a billion.
The #WorldsCoolestWinter hashtag was used in more than 71,000 photos and videos on social media.
The campaign once again highlighted the UAE's position as a major tourism destination, showcasing its beauty, the spirit of its people and their warm hospitality.
The tourism drive was launched on December 15, 2021, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
It was implemented by the UAE Government Media Office, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and various entities concerned with tourism, culture and heritage, aiming to showcase the country's tourist destinations.
