EPL round-up: Leicester shock Man City to extend lead

Sergio Aguero scored a late consolation for the hosts, but Leicester comfortably held on for a deserved victory. However, after an estimated 10,000+ fans left the stadium early in protest at ticket prices, Sunderland struck back with late goals from Adam Johnson and Jermain Defoe, to claim a valuable point in their battle against relegation.Staying at the bottom of the table, Aston Villa secured a crucial three points, with a 2-0 home win over Norwich, which dragged the Canaries into the relegation zone after Newcastle beat West Brom 2-0. In the day’s other games, Everton romped to a 3-0 win at Stoke, and Southampton edged out West Ham by a single goal.
