Pakistan Super League set to kick off in Dubai

The new season of the Pakistan Super League gets under way in the UAE this evening.

Reigning champions Islamabad United take on Lahore Qalandars in the curtain raiser at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the action getting under way at 21:45.

 

This year's PSL once again features an impressive list of global cricket stars with AB de Villiers, Darren Sammy, Shane Watson and Kieron Pollard among those playing.

 

The majority of group matches will be played across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah before the tournament moves over to Pakistan, with the final taking place in Karachi on March 17.
