Football stadiums in the UAE will be allowed to welcome fans for the new season, with the crowd capacity capped at 60 per cent.
Entry will only be allowed to those aged 16 and above, whose Alhosn app shows green status, proving that they have received either a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or the second dose less than six months ago.
Attendees will also have to present a negative result of a PCR test taken less than 48 hours before the matchday and adhere to precautionary measures such as wearing face masks and practicing social distancing.
The UAE Pro League, in coordination with the UAE Football Association and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), announced the measures for attending games in the Adnoc Pro League, Pro League Cup and UAE Super Cup.
