UAE Pro League match rescheduled

The UAE Pro League has rescheduled the Fujairah vs Al Wahda match for May 15th.

The move comes over precautionary measures on arrivals from India.


The UAE Pro League board came to the decision at a recent meeting, held via video conferencing.


Fujairah’s clash with Al Wahda was due to take place om May 3rd, and will take place at Fujairah Stadium in matchweek 24 of the Arabian Gulf League on May 15th. 


This means all those taking part arriving from India will be required to follow all precautionary measures due to the pandemic situation in the country. 


Al Wahda team will undergo quarantine, and will not be allowed to take part in any official game for seven days after their arrival.


The UAEPL confirmed that it always prioritizes the public interest and the health and safety of the community over the clubs’ interests while adhering to the competitions’ regulations and according to developments related to this match.
