Meet Dalia the 26-year-old Giraffe, Apollo the Owl, Leo the majestic Lion, Onyx the baby Rhino, the twin moon Bear cubs Dim and Sum, or the endangered Komodo Dragon Baja.  

Leo the Majestic Lion
Leo the lion was born at the Dubai Safari Park and is one of the big cats out there. The calm yet powerful 9-year-old loves to rule the pride, and his roar can be heard from miles away. 

Baja the Komodo Dragon – the Gentle Giant 
Baja the Komodo dragon is 12 years old and part of Dubai Safari Park’s special program to help protect endangered species. When young, Baja was moody and not that friendly. But with time, he has become friendly, thanks to the caretakers who have taken good care of him. He’s active and healthy, and the park is looking for a partner for him.

Onyx – the Mischievous Southern White Rhinoceros.
A playful baby white rhino arrived on June 21 at the Dubai Safari Park. When it’s feeding time, he runs to his mother. Also mud time is his favourite play time. Tummy full is always the first to go to bed.

Apollo, the Pharaoh Eagle Owl – Your Feathery Friend.
Say hello to Apollo, the Pharaoh eagle owl. He warmly meets and greets the guests. He is just the perfect feathery friend you were looking for.   

The Tall and Fabulous – Dalia the giraffe
The oldest animal in Dubai Safari Park, Dalia is 24 years and is part of a special program to help protect endangered animals. Dalia is a little shy and communicates through touch and eye contact, but she is brave and the leader of her herd. She loves to spend her time resting in the cold sand and feasting on carrots and lettuce. 

The Adorable Asiatic Black Bear Cubs
This year, Dubai Safari Park welcomed two adorable new members to the animal family! Twin moon bear cubs, Dim & Sum. The babies are absolute fun, climbing trees, hitting the hanging balls, and are always up to some mischief.
