15 injured in Dubai crash

A two-vehicle collision on Dubai's Hassah Road on Thursday morning has left 15 people wounded.

According to the Dubai Police, the accident happened when the driver of a minivan crashed into a car while attempting to dangerously overtake another vehicle.

Four of the injured are in a critical condition, while seven others are said to have suffered moderate injuries.

Four more are being treated for minor wounds.

Emergency services were pressed into action as soon as they were alerted about the incident, with a top official urging motorists to abide by traffic rules at all times.
