The UAE confirmed 985 new cases of COVID-19 from 259,569 tests on Wednesday.
Another 1,526 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 706,644.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,043.
A total of 719,355 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 10,668 are currently active.
