Abu Dhabi International Airport holds emergency exercise

A mock emergency exercise is being carried out at Abu Dhabi International Airport today. Response teams from various units - including operations, security, fire and medical services, -are testing their coordinated response to an emergency situation. The drill will run for nearly two hours, between 2pm and 4pm. Airport officials have confirmed that flights will continue to operate as normal during this time.
