Abu Dhabi Police went beyond their call of duty to make a young boy’s birthday extra special.
Syrian-born Saeed, who celebrates his birthday on the same day as the UAE National Day, was in for a pleasant surprise when he was greeted by officers outside his home.
In a video posted on their official Facebook page, he’s seen saluting the officers before embarking on a special journey.
Wearing masks and maintaining safety protocols, the officers were seen cheering the boy as he cut his birthday cake.
The boy’s father Samer thanked the officers for making his boy’s wish of celebrating with the officers come true, especially during the pandemic.
