In the latest crackdown on pandemic protocol violators, 12 more outlets in Dubai have been penalised for breaking the precautionary measures.
The inspections carried by teams from Dubai Economy and Dubai Sports Council pulled up 11 gyms after their employees were caught ignoring social distancing rules and for not wearing face masks.
The gyms were located in Hor Al Anz, Al Qusais, Al Muhaisnah, and Al Murar areas.
One business was also issued a warning for not placing physical distancing stickers.
Posting on social media, Dubai Economy stated that there have been no closure orders during the latest inspections.
