COVID-19: 1,412 new cases in UAE from more than 116,000 tests

The UAE has confirmed 1,412 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 112,849.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), as many as 116,470 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has gone up to 104,943 after another 1,618 people received the all-clear.

The ministry has also confirmed the death of three patients, bringing the total number of fatalities to 455.

This means that there are currently 7,451 active cases in the country.
