A dental clinic in Dubai has landed in trouble for carrying out a marketing and promotional campaign without getting proper approvals.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) says it will take legal action against the facility for breaking advertising protocols by announcing prizes and giveaways, which led to a traffic jam on Al Wasl Road.

The DHA has reiterated that all health care facilities should follow the guidelines for regulatory processes as well as for promotional activities.
