Dubai is gearing up to welcome 2026 with one of its biggest New Year celebrations yet. Fireworks will take place at 40 locations across the emirate, with 48 separate displays lighting up the skyline.
Major venues include Burj Khalifa, Global Village, Atlantis The Royal, Expo City Dubai, Dubai Frame, Al Marmoom Oasis, Hatta and several other destinations.
The Event Security Committee has confirmed its full readiness to manage celebrations that are expected to draw large crowds.
Public transport services have been significantly increased, with Dubai Metro and Tram services running continuously for 43 hours, alongside thousands of taxis, buses and limousine vehicles.
Around 20,000 parking spaces are available in the Burj Khalifa area, with additional parking at metro stations.
Road closures around Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa begin from 4:00 pm and will expand gradually until 11:00 pm on several major roads, including Sheikh Zayed Road and surrounding routes.
