Dubai is stepping up efforts to drive the use of artificial intelligence across government departments.
During the ongoing Dubai AI Week, the emirate's new AI policy for government entities, and the first edition of the Dubai State of AI Report were unveiled.
The report highlights how AI is already transforming public services in areas like healthcare, urban planning and emergency response — with over 100 real-world use cases either active or in development.
Officials say the goal is to build a smarter, faster and more citizen-focused government.
Meanwhile, Dubai’s AI Policy outlines a framework to guide responsible and ethical AI use across all departments. It follows commitments made during last year’s AI Retreat and focuses on transparency, interoperability and innovation.
The initiatives were developed by Digital Dubai in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation and aim to position Dubai as a global leader in government AI.
