Flydubai suspends Israel flights amid FZ1073 investigation

Flydubai has announced the temporary suspension of all flights to and from Israel following the incident involving flight FZ1073 on September 30.

The airline said the decision was taken in coordination with the relevant authorities as investigations into the incident continue.

Flydubai stressed that the safety and wellbeing of its passengers, crew and operations remain its highest priority, adding that the suspension will allow authorities to establish all the facts surrounding the incident.

The carrier said it is fully supporting the ongoing investigation and remains in close coordination with government authorities, regulators and airport stakeholders.

The suspension will be reviewed as more information becomes available.

The airline also apologised to passengers affected by the disruption and said it is working to provide support and alternative travel arrangements where possible.
