The third edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC) is set to take place from November 26-28 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, delving into the latest trends and opportunities within the media sector.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, GMC brings together key decision-makers and major international companies to foster innovation and elevate the media industry's role in building prosperous, advanced communities.
Through various sessions, dialogues and activities, the event aims to chart a roadmap for innovative media content that aligns with the UAE’s vision for a vibrant and sustainable media ecosystem.
This year's congress will provide a platform for constructive discussions on the challenges facing the media industry, promoting international cooperation and the exchange of best practices.
It also aims to empower the youth to engage actively in media creation, encouraging innovation and creativity.
Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, highlighted the vital role of national media under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stating it is a key partner in establishing a sustainable development ecosystem that effectively showcases the nation’s achievements and strategic vision.
The GMC is expected to attract a wide array of participants, including representatives from government and private sectors, media, academia, and both traditional and digital content creators.
The programme will feature prominent speakers in interactive sessions, alongside a specialist conference and exhibition showcasing various international and local brands, including innovative startups.
