His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has urged the public to raise the UAE flag in a show of loyalty to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In a post on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohammed called upon "the sons of the UAE and its residents... to raise it above homes, institutions and buildings...as a symbol of our loyalty to our country's president and the banner of our unity and solidarity".
He highlighted that "the UAE entered the recent crisis united... and emerged from it even more united".
His Highness said it showed "how citizens and residents, young and old, military and civilians, government and economic sectors" came together in a "more united, cohesive and loyal" way.
"Let us raise the flag high above every home and building as a sign of our love and a symbol of our loyalty to our country's president and the banner of our unity and solidarity," Sheikh Mohammed added.
