His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has hailed the UAE's ranking as the world's most trusted government per the 2026 Edelman Trust Index.
Announcing the country's achievement in a social media post, His Highness added that "trust is built over long years of credibility in word... and fulfilling promises... and legitimacy of achievement... and integrity of laws... and respect for humanity."

The result marks a significant rise in the country's performance, with the UAE previously ranking fourth on the index in 2025.
