H.H. Sheikh Mohammed pardons more than 200 prisoners

As many as 203 prisoners in Dubai will be released ahead of Eid Al Adha.

They have been pardoned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The initiative is aimed at giving them an opportunity to start a new life and reintegrate into society. It will also help ease the distress of their families.

The Attorney General of Dubai, Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan said that Dubai Public Prosecution will immediately start the legal procedures to implement Sheikh Mohammed’s directive so that the pardoned individuals can spend Eid Al Adha with their families.
