Have you done enough to protect your homes while you are away

Make sure that you secure your homes before leaving on holidays to avoid nasty surprises on return.

That’s the message from Dubai Public Prosecution, which is reminding holiday-goers to keep their valuables and money in safe places.

Residents can also sign up for the free home patrolling services offered by Dubai Police.

In a social media post, the authority has quoted a recent case where a villa became an easy target for thieves after its owner forgot to lock the doors before heading out on vacation.
