Motorists in the UAE can now sign up their vehicles for the road toll payment scheme in Abu Dhabi, which comes into effect on October 15.
The official website for this is now up and running.
The online registration is only required for cars licensed outside the capital as Abu Dhabi-registered vehicles will be automatically enrolled in the system.
There’s a AED 100 charge to create the account, and once registered, motorists will be able to manage payments through the e-wallet in their account.
The four toll gates are on Al Maqta, Mussaffah, Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Khalifa bridges.
