Injured trekker rescued from Jebel Hafeet after horrific fall

An injured trekker stranded at Al Ain's Jebel Hafeet has been airlifted to safety.

Teams of Abu Dhabi Police and the National Search and Rescue Centre rushed to the site on Sunday, after they were alerted about the 38-year-old Emirati national who injured his legs while tackling the rugged site.

The man was airlifted to Tawam Hospital for treatment, while considering all COVID-19 guidelines.
