People in the UAE have been urged not to travel abroad unless fully vaccinated.
During the latest media briefing, the UAE health sector's spokesperson Dr Farida Al Hosani stressed that travel is not recommended for unvaccinated individuals or those who've not completed "the required doses of the vaccine" as they might be at a greater risk of contracting the virus and its complications.
She added that travellers who are eligible for their booster shots must take it to "increase immunity".
Dr Al Hosani also urged the public to research about COVID-19 updates in the country they wish to visit to avoid health emergencies or lockdowns, and avoid crowded places and follow safety rules during their holiday.
Health Sector: We do not recommend travel for unvaccinated individuals or those who did not complete the required doses of the #Covid19 vaccine, for fear of being more vulnerable to the disease and its complications.#TogetherWeRecover

Health Sector: Learning the public state of health in the countries you intend to visit & confirming the stability of #Covid19 cases should be a part of travel plans, as to avoid emergency precautionary procedures or lockdowns, enforced in the country you’re visiting.
