The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) have introduced the "Ajyal" programme, aimed at enhancing religious awareness among school students in Dubai.

Part of the "Gharas Al-Khayr" initiative, the programme is designed to foster mutual understanding within the educational environment.

It will run throughout the academic year and features a range of activities including lectures, dialogues, and educational workshops led by qualified speakers and specialists.

IACAD Director-General, Ahmed Darwish Al-Mehairi, highlighted that the programme is a step towards creating a collaborative environment for students, parents, and educational bodies. He emphasised that it reflects the commitment of various entities in Dubai to achieving common goals through effective communication and resource utilisation.

KHDA Director-General, Aisha Abdullah Miran, praised the initiative, noting its role in raising awareness about social phenomena and promoting positive interactions among the younger generation.

The "Ajyal" programme represents a comprehensive effort to enhance religious and social understanding in Dubai’s schools, leveraging institutional collaboration to benefit the educational community.
