The Saqr Humanitarian Ship has set sail from Ras Al Khaimah, carrying more than 4,000 tonnes of aid to Al Arish Port in Egypt, ahead of its delivery to the Gaza Strip.
The shipment was prepared and loaded under the supervision of the Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, in cooperation with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
The aid includes food supplies, shelter materials such as winter clothing and essential household items, along with medicines, medical equipment, and medical consumables.
The initiative aims to ease the suffering of civilians in the Strip and meet the urgent needs of the most vulnerable groups, particularly children, women, and the elderly.
Relief parcels were packed earlier this month at the Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre, with wide participation from the local community.
This marks the twelfth humanitarian ship sent from the UAE to support Gaza under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, reaffirming the country’s continued commitment to humanitarian and relief efforts for the Palestinian people.
