Reducing reliance on single-use products is the focus of a new sustainability drive across Sharjah.
The Sharjah Deserves the Best campaign will run until the end of 2026 and is being led by the Department of Municipal Affairs in partnership with several local entities.
It encourages people to choose reusable and environmentally friendly alternatives.
The initiative includes public awareness events, digital campaigns and the distribution of reusable shopping bags to promote sustainable everyday habits.
Officials say the campaign aims to reduce waste, encourage responsible use of resources and make environmental sustainability part of daily life.
