H.H. Sheikh Mohamed reviews bilateral ties with Mozambique

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reviewed the bilateral relations of the Emirates and Mozambique with the country's leader Filipe Nyusi.

The meeting addressed various aspects of the UAE-Mozambique relations and the opportunities available to expand the scope of common interests.

Sheikh Mohamed and President Nyusi also tackled the two nations' cooperation in the field of environment and combating climate change.

Mozambique is a member of the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate, which is led by the UAE and the US.

The two sides stressed the important role the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP 28), which will be hosted by the UAE next year, can play in this regard.

President Nyusi, who is on working visit to the UAE, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed for the warm reception and stressed his keenness to continue working with him for further growth and prosperity of the countries' bilateral relations.
