All members of the UAE community have been urged to participate in the Flag Day celebrations on Tuesday, November 3. Government entities have also been directed to raise the Flag at the same time at 12 noon, to signify the country’s unity and greatness. The call comes from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. November 3 marks the day His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became the UAE’s President. This year’s Flag Day campaign will also honour the sacrifices made by the Armed Forces.
