Sultan Al Neyadi has spoken of his pride after being honoured by crewmates onboard the International Space Station.
The Emirati astronaut, who blasted off from Earth over a month ago, has been presented with NASA's golden astronaut pin.
In a tweet, Dr Al Neyadi said it's a great honour to be part of the historic mission, representing the UAE, and he will wear the badge as a symbol of the commitment he made when he started on his journey.
The golden pin is awarded by the US Space Agency to astronauts who reach very advanced levels of professional training that qualify them to operate the International Space Station.
