As many as 88,743 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the UAE in the past 24 hours.
The total number of doses provided so far stands at 1,971,521 with a distribution rate of 19.93 doses per 100 people.
The vaccination drive is in line with the Ministry of Health and Prevention's (MoHAP) plan to reach out to all segments of society, which will help reduce the number of COVID-19 cases and ultimately control the pandemic.
