The UAE has confirmed 1,007 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 78,849.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), 95,287 additional tests have been carried out across the Emirates.
Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has gone up to 68,983 after another 521 people received the all-clear.
The ministry has also confirmed the death of one patient, bringing the total number of fatalities to 399.
This means that there are currently 9,467 active cases in the country.
