The UAE has expressed its solidarity with Chile following the wildfires that broke out in the southern and central regions of the country three days ago, killing at least 19 people and injuring several others.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims' families, the Chilean government, and its people and wished a speedy recovery for all those injured.
Chilean authorities have carried out mass evacuations and fought over 30 blazes aggravated by intense heat and high winds, according to Reuters.
