More is being done in the UAE to raise awareness about how to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Ministry of Education, along with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in Ajman, has launched a campaign to educate the public on the appropriate protection guidelines and preventative measures to be carried out in schools.
The training programme will target 2,000 people, mainly school principles, ministry employees, heads of services units and health, science and physical education teachers.
Security and safety officers working in schools will also undergo training.
