President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan on the occasion of the Accession to the Throne Day.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also dispatched similar messages to King Abdullah II on the occasion.
King Abdullah met with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during an official visit to the UAE last December.
The meeting was part of a visit by King Abdullah aimed at continuing mutual consultations on issues of shared interest, particularly in light of recent events in the region.
Both leaders had also stressed the need to intensify efforts to bolster regional stability and prevent the escalation of conflicts in the region.
