Members of the UAE's royal family have performed Eid Al Adha prayers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayhan offered the Eid prayer alongside worshipers at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the UAE capital.
He was joined by a number of royals, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court and His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
The Eid sermon focused on the theme of devotion and highlighted its importance in faith, national service and community life.
Sheikh Mohamed also joined the royals in reciting a prayer for UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
In Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, performed the Eid prayers at Zabeel Grand Mosque.

In Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, performed the Eid prayer at the Sharjah mosque.

In Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, performed the Eid prayer at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque while His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, offered Eid prayer at the Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla Mosque.

In Ajman, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, performed the Eid prayer at the Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Mosque.

In Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, offered the Eid prayer at the Eid Grand Musalla in Khuzam.
Following the morning prayers, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received members of the Federal Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and sheikhs at a reception at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness exchanged Eid greetings and warm wishes with the guests. They prayed for continued health and happiness for all, and that the occasion would bring blessings, prosperity and peace to the people of the UAE. They also expressed their hopes for lasting security, stability and progress for the nation.
